I uploaded the Encaustic Materials Handbook to Amazon Kindle today. How many months am I into this project now? Nine. I have used the same number of months to create whole new human beings, nine months each for number one son and darling daughter. This book has not caused the same kind of pain. Oh no. It’s caused a whole ‘nother kind of pain.
Amazon will take a couple of days to approve the manuscript. But once it’s for sale on the Kindle site, I will offer it for free to my blog readers and friends. This free promotional period will last about five days, and that’s the time to grab it before the price skyrockets to $7.99 US.
Want to find out when that promotional period begins? Sign up for an email update by clicking this link: Encaustic Materials Handbook email signup form. The update will tell you how to get it on Amazon, and will include a tearful plea to leave me a positive review. Or any kind of review as long as it has 4 or 5 stars. The signup form is also on the right of each blog page under Free Box.
Here’s my cover. The Theory stopped me from using Chiller font style (I thought dripping blood and dripping paint looked alike but he said they didn’t) and now the type style is Georgia or something equally plain. Ah, well.
